As a graduating undergraduate in RSS, an article I would recommend reading is

http://www.ryersonian.ca/local-wrestling-program-makes-ryerson-wrestling-team-a-reality/

This article was about developing opportunities in the sport of wrestling. In this article a club team, Team Impact, is trying to become a University team.  In my opinion, I believe this is a great opportunity for the University of Ryerson and the wrestling team. The university can now scout out talented wrestlers throughout the world to go to their university. At the same time, the club team can be more establish. The Team will have a place they can train at and be associated with in the community. They can also benefit from the creation of this university team by now having more training partners for their current athletes.

It’s also important to point out that the university can get recognition from their students from the wrestling team. The wrestling team volunteers in a program called Beat the Streets, which allow trouble youth to try wrestling and be a part of great sport. This also gives the youth a chance to go to university.

Overall, this article is a great example of how a community program and an university can work together in achieving similar goals.
